THE CREATOR
Jack Stone began his musical journey at the age of 19, studying sound engineering at CAE in Cape Town, where he graduated with top marks and ignited his passion for music production. Having played guitar since the age of 11, he soon formed his first band, which launched him into the live music scene.
Over the next four years, Jack cut his teeth performing in clubs, festivals, and venues across the country before stepping into his solo career. Just months in, he was signed by a Johannesburg label created around his music, releasing his debut album produced with industry professionals and mastered in Texas by Grammy Award–winning engineer Andrew Mendelson.
Jack went on to release a string of singles, including the official theme for the well-known NPO Feed A Child. His career saw him share stages with some of South Africa’s most celebrated artists, appearing at major festivals and venues nationwide including half time show for the Currie Cup Semi Finals at Ellis Park.
Alongside his original music, Jack broke into the corporate entertainment world, performing at prestigious events for brands such as Mediclinic, Porsche, SMG, Jack Daniels, Jeep, and Land Rover, as well as high-profile weddings for international clients. He also headlined theatre runs with curated tribute shows and musical productions that sold out venues including The Barnyard Theatre circuit, Die Blou Hond, Café Roux, Die Boer, Heroes, and Die Koelkamers.
In the studio, Jack consistently produced or co-produced his own projects, working with acclaimed producers such as Grammy Award winner Fernando on his 2020 Afrikaans EP, which achieved multiple #1 slots on national radio. Building on these successes, and with charting songs of his own, Jack began offering his production and songwriting expertise to other artists—leading to the creation of JSS.
Beyond music, Jack has always taken a hands-on approach to branding, content creation, and video production for his work, ensuring every project meets the highest professional standard.
